Gospel according to Mark
This is not a traditional bible commentary on the Gospel of Mark.
It is the result of my personal readings of the gospel (often
while biking to my office), especially looking at the character
Walking with Jesus
Man of compassion and authority
Two aspects of His character have impressed me. One is His
compassion. It seems that in each personal encounter Jesus
shows compassion for the people He meets, often ignoring the
reactions of the by standers. At the same time, He always
remains Himself in all circumstances. He is never off-guard,
never confused. This shows his enourmous authority. He is
very masculine, integrating compassion and authority.
