Private translation of 1 Corinthians
This page gives a private translation of the first
epistle of Paul to the Corinthians, starting from
the Textus Receptus, using the KJV and the NASB.
The purpose of this translation is to understand
the original Greek text. For this reason it will
be a very literal translation, some times sacrifying
readability.
Chapter one
(1)
Paul, an apostel of Jesus Christ
by calling through the will of God, and Sosthenes the brother,
(2)
to the church of God, which is at Corinth,
to those who have been sanctified in Christ Jesus,
saints by calling,
with all that in every place call upon the name
of our Lord Jesus Christ,
both their's and our's:

Grace to you and peace from God our Father
and the Lord Jesus Christ.
